Drop-In Visit for dog or cat care in Client’s Home

Quick Drop-In Visit (usually around 15 minutes, great for puppies, senior dogs, or aloof cats) – $22
- Limited to puppies and senior dogs. Great for potty break and a quick belly rub.
- Cat visits while you are on vacation for a cat who is pretty independent and doesn’t want a lot of extra cuddles. (Additional animals, $4)
30 minutes – $33
- Great for midday check-ins. Potty break with or without a walk. Play time and cuddles. A great option for affectionate cats when you are on vacation. This is our most popular service. (Additional pets, $6)

Dog Walking around Client’s home

30 minutes – $33
45 minutes – $49.50

A note about weather: Walks will happen rain or shine when temperatures are between 20 degrees and 80 degrees (with some breed dependent wiggle room). In colder or hotter temperatures, walks will be shortened to 15 minutes, with additional play time inside. Safety is always the number one priority, and if weather turns nasty while we are out (hail, bad winds, ice, or heavy snow) we may return home earlier than planned, with continued play time inside. In winter months, during vacation drop-ins, we do request the name and phone number of a neighbor within walking distance in the event the roads become impassable.

Daily Vacation Care Package – $99

Three 30-minute visits. Includes a feeding, medications, walk, cuddle time, mail and lighting service. Additional dogs – $6 each. Limit of three days.

The dog bath service is perfect for pups who need a quick clean to maintain a healthy-looking coat and clean ears!

The Details We Hate:

Holidays: Holidays are an extra $15 per visit. Holidays include: Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.

Holiday Cancellation Policy: Our business often gets more requests for reservations than we can handle during holiday time periods. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible, preferably 14 days in advance.

Urgent Requests: Urgent Requests (12 hours or less before requested service time) are an extra $10 per visit.

Weekend Services: Weekend services are an additional $10 per visit.

What time will you be at my house/walk my dog?

We aim to meet all requests at the exact time you ask for them, however sometimes there are unavoidable situations that arise like bad weather, traffic, or a dog that needs a little more time before going back into their beds. I can promise you we will always be to your pup within 30 minutes before/after your scheduled time, but we aim to be there exactly when expected.

Are you insured/bonded?

Absolutely! We work with one of the most highly regarded insurance companies in our industry, Business Insurers of the Carolinas. I am fully insured and bonded.

How do you get into my house?

We ask that you make me a key, which will be coded and kept in a locked safe. Garage codes are welcome, but physical keys are preferred. For safety reasons, we cannot enter unlocked homes.

How do I pay for services?

All Happy Tails Zionsville payments are processed through our secure online system. The card you have on file will be charged and an invoice will be emailed to you weekly. If you prefer to pay by cash of check, just let me know.

How does this work?

The first time you submit a request for services, we will set you up with A Time to Pet account. Within one hour you will have access to your client portal where you can share all the information we will need to care for your pet. From there you can schedule services as often as needed. Before your first service, we will set up a free ‘Meet and Greet” to go over all your pet’s needs and your preferences for Happy Tails staff. From there you can schedule as often as you need, preferably 48 hours in advance of requested service.
